Burton Albion striker Jacob Blyth has revealed that he will miss the remainder of the season with a thigh injury.
It was initially thought that the 22-year-old, who is on loan with the League Two club from Leicester City, would be ruled out for a month when he suffered the problem back in early February.
However, on his Twitter account, the forward admitted that he was "devastated" to have been ruled out for the closing stages of the campaign.
"Devastated to be ruled out for the rest of the season. Huge thanks to @burtonalbionfc for a great season n hopefully get that league title," he wrote.
Blyth scored five goals during his 25 appearances for the Brewers.
