Nunez leaves Leeds

Leeds United have confirmed that the club have released Honduran international Ramon Nunez from his contract at Elland Road.

The 27-year-old joined the side in the summer of 2010, making 25 appearances for the Championship outfit.

However, he has struggled to command a regular spot in Neil Warnock's first team this season, despite impressing for the club's development squad on a regular basis.

A statement on the club's official website read: "The club have terminated the Honduran's contract by mutual consent and he is now free to find an alternative club."

Early indications suggest that the attacker is keen to remain in England.
