Leeds United reportedly turn their attention to Aston Villa's Jonathan Kodjia in their search for a new striker.

Leeds United have allegedly turned their attention to Aston Villa's Jonathan Kodjia in their hunt for a new striker.

New Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa is said to have prioritised signing a new forward this summer, and previous reports suggest that the club has been in talks with Derby County over Matej Vydra.

According to Football Insider, Leeds have grown frustrated at the lack of progress in the Vydra negotiations and are ready to move for Kodjia instead.

Villa have been tipped to offload a number of players this summer due to their ongoing financial crisis and Kodjia may be among them.

The Ivory Coast international has scored 20 goals in 54 matches for Steve Bruce's side since joining them from Bristol City in 2016, but struggled with injuries last season.
