Leeds United move close to Anthony vanden Borre?

Leeds United have reportedly moved close to signing former Portsmouth midfielder Anthony vanden Borre.

The 24-year-old, who spent a brief loan spell at Fratton Park, is a free agent having departed Racing Genk in the summer.

According to The Sun, a host of clubs have registered an interest in the winger, but Leeds have emerged as the favourites.

Vanden Borre has also played for Genoa.
