Luciano Becchio's Leeds future in doubt?

The future of Luciano Becchio as a Leeds United player has been thrown into doubt after he was not named in the squad to play Birmingham City in the FA Cup this evening.

Reports coming out of St Andrew's have claimed that the Argentine is suffering from an illness.

However, speculation has since intensified that the 29-year-old is close to sealing a move to an unnamed Premier League club.

Becchio, who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, joined Leeds from Merida in 2008.
