Burr pleased despite indifferent start

Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has revealed that he has been impressed with the club's performances during the opening week of the Conference.

Harriers recorded an opening-day victory over Gateshead before falling to defeat to Alfreton Town three days later, but Burr has insisted that the only thing missing from their game is more goals.

The 53-year-old told the Worcester News: "I am pleased with how the team are playing. It's disappointing when you lose but I can't get too disappointed about the way we are playing.

"I would like to think that if we create the same number of chances at Braintree, we will score goals and that was the only thing missing on Tuesday."

Kidderminster missed out on promotion to League Two last year after losing in the Conference playoffs.
