Juventus 'contact Christian Eriksen over free transfer in 2020'

Juve 'contact Eriksen over free transfer'

Juventus have allegedly asked Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen whether he would be interested in moving to Turin in 2020.

As a result of less than a year remaining on his contract, Eriksen is attracting attention from teams in Europe, while Spurs are also open to a sale.

However, as it stands, clubs are struggling to reach an agreement with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who is still looking to recoup at least £60m for the Denmark international.

That could potentially leave Eriksen to see the season out in North London ahead of having more options at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Juventus have already made an enquiry about the 27-year-old's plans going forward, ahead of attempting to strike a deal with the player in January.

The Serie A champions have recently remained patient in the market before signing Emre Can and Aaron Ramsey - previously of Liverpool and Arsenal respectively - on free transfers.
