Juventus suffer Andrea Barzagli injury blow

Juventus have confirmed that Andrea Barzagli faces a spell on the sidelines after tests revealed that a stress fracture was found in the defender's heel.

The 33-year-old had been suffering from a heel problem last season and underwent surgery to correct the issue in July.

However, another round of tests has shown that he has re-aggravated the injury and will not play again for at least another month.

Barzagli joined Juventus in January 2011 from Wolfsburg.
