Cesare Prandelli feels Italy need to attack against Germany

Prandelli: 'We will attack Germany'

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli believes that Italy must try to attack against Germany if they are to knock out the second-favourites.

Italy created a lot of chances against England but failed to score in 120 minutes of football, but Prandelli still thinks that attacking football is the best way to go.

"We must play knowing that we can play our game, we must be daring and not only defend our area," Prandelli told agi.it.

"I prefer to [concede] goals [from] counterattacks than sit there and suffer for 20 minutes."

Italy's semi-final with Germany takes place in Warsaw on Thursday.
