Ipswich Town are reportedly close to signing highly-rated winger Jack Doherty from Waterford United.
The 18-year-old, who has reportedly attracted the interest of a number of Championship clubs, has been a star performer for Waterford, who play in the First Division of the League of Ireland.
According to Sky Sports News, the midfielder could undergo a medical with the Championship outfit on Monday before signing a long-term contract.
Ipswich finished 14th in the Championship last season.
