Team News: Two changes for Ipswich Town against Birmingham City

Two changes for Ipswich Town

Mick McCarthy has made two changes to Ipswich Town's starting lineup for the visit of Birmingham City at Portman Road in the Championship.

Winger Larsen Toure makes his first start for the Tractor Boys since joining in the summer, while Brett Pitman returns up front alongside Freddie Sears, leaving David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy to drop to the bench following the 1-0 win over Leeds United earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the visitors have made three changes to the side that were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest last time out.

Neal Eardley, Demarai Gray and Andrew Shinnie all return to the starting lineup, while Paul Caddis, Jon Toral and Jacques Maghoma are all on the bench.

Ipswich Town: Gerken; Chambers, Smith, Berra, Knudsen; Skuse, Douglas, Toure, Naitland-Niles; Pitman, Sears Subs: Bialkowski, Malarczyk, Parr, Coke, Fraser, McGoldrick, Murphy

Birmingham City: Kuszczak; Eardley, Spector, Morrison, Grounds; Gleeson, Kieftenbeld, Cotterill, Shinnie, Gray; Donaldson Subs: Legzdins, Robinson, Maghoma, Toral, Davis, Caddis, Brock-Madsen
