Inter Milan are preparing to offer Yuto Nagatomo a one-year extension to his contract, according to reports.
The 26-year-old full-back has managed to nail down a first-team place since moving from Cesena last season, earning rave reviews from fans and pundits alike.
According to Football Italia, the Nerazzurri will now ask the Japanese international to extend his stay until 2016.
Nagatomo, who is one of three Japanese players to have played in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, has played 53 times for his country, scoring three goals.
