Inter Milan to re-open talks with Carlos Tevez

Inter to re-open talks with Tevez

Carlos Tevez's move away from Manchester City could be back on as the striker is due to re-open talks with Inter Milan over a possible move next week.

The transfer saga surrounding the Argentina international has taken another twist, with AC Milan's rivals Inter re-entering the fray for the 27-year-old.

"We and Manchester City know all about the Tevez situation," Inter president Massimo Moratti told the club's official website. "We've decided to postpone talks until next week as my thoughts are on Sunday's game [against AC Milan].

"There has certainly been contact with the club. We're in talks with clubs all around the world including City."

It is believed that AC Milan's failed deal for the forward was due to their preferred choice of a loan move as opposed to a permanent agreement, which is favoured by the Premier League leaders.

Reports have claimed that Inter are willing to pay in the region of £20m for the controversial striker.
