Hull accept Norwich's bid for Brady

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that the club have accepted a bid from Norwich City for Robbie Brady.

The midfielder has for some time been the subject of a reported £7m bid from the Canaries, who were promoted to the Premier League in May.

Following Hull's pre-season goalless draw with Hannover on Sunday, Bruce confirmed that Brady is on the verge of leaving the Tigers for Carrow Road.

"The two clubs have agreed a fee for Robbie," ITV News quotes Bruce as saying. "We have given Robbie permission to go and speak to Norwich. I envisage that deal to go through.

"I want to thank Robbie for his efforts as he has been a terrific player for us. It's sad to see him go but most people will understand that when you get relegated these things happen."

Brady is still to undergo a medical.
