McGregor 'out for the rest of the season'

Hull City goalkeeper Allan McGregor is likely miss the remainder of the season after sustaining kidney damage during his side's 2-1 loss to West Ham United.

The Scot was taken to hospital after colliding with Mohamed Diame during the match, and was later told by a specialist that he will miss the Tigers' final seven games, The Mirror reports.

Steve Harper will deputise for McGregor for the remainder of the season, and Hull have recalled third-choice stopper Eldin Jakupovic from his loan spell with Leyton Orient.

Hull are expected to issue an official statement about McGregor's condition on Friday.
