Tom Huddlestone: 'Hull City confident ahead of Wembley clash'

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone insists that his side will head into the FA Cup final with "plenty of confidence".

Tom Huddlestone has insisted that Hull City will head into their FA Cup final clash against Arsenal with "plenty of confidence".

The Tigers ended their Premier League campaign without a win in five games, while Arsenal head to Wembley on the back of five straight victories.

"There have been some unbelievable players over the years who have never been to a FA Cup final. So, I count myself lucky to be in this position," Huddlestone is quoted as saying by the Yorkshire Post.

"There is no point getting there, though, if you are happy to take a runners-up medal. If we were to win the trophy then it would live on for decades to come.

"We will go in with plenty of confidence. We know our league form hasn't been what we expected but we have got to put all that out of the window and concentrate on the final."

The showpiece final gets underway at 5pm on Saturday evening.
