DaMarcus Beasley leaves Puebla for Houston Dynamo

Beasley makes Houston Dynamo switch

USA international DaMarcus Beasley has joined Houston Dynamo from Mexican outfit Puebla.

In order to purchase Beasley, Dynamo had to trade Warren Creavalle to Toronto, which gave them the top spot in the MLS allocation order.

Speaking to the club's official website after the move, Beasley said that the reason behind the move was to begin a new chapter.

He said: "I am excited and ready to start this new chapter in my career. I feel fit and ready to go and hope Dom [Kinnear] will see my work ethic and desire to play at a high level."

Beasley made history last month when he became the first American to play in four World Cups.
