Billy Reid leaves Hamilton Academical

Scottish First Division side Hamilton Academical have revealed that manager Billy Reid has left the club.

Reid had been at New Douglas Park since 2005, but the club are currently sitting just six points above the relegation zone.

The 49-year-old helped the club to promotion shortly after his arrival, but they were relegated from the Scottish Premier League in 2010.

The club have announced that a full statement from their chairman will be made in due course.
