Mesut Ozil insists that he has yet to hit top form at Euro 2012.

Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil has said that he has yet to hit top form at Euro 2012.

The Real Madrid man, who claims that both Portugal and the Netherlands were focused on stopping him, insists that he can and will do better starting with Denmark this weekend.

"It was apparent that the Dutch and Portuguese wanted to take me out of the game," he told DFB.de.

"Portugal were defensive. That can be difficult for us but we have the potential to break through like we showed.

"I know I can do better and will prove it in the next game."

The Germans take on the Danes in L'viv tomorrow evening.
