Christian Streich is aware that Freiburg must battle if they are to beat Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Freiburg coach Christian Streich has urged his side to fight for the three points in their home clash against Wolfsburg on Sunday afternoon.

Streich said that, despite losing their last two in league and cup, he has seen plenty of positives in his side's recent performances.

"It's going to be another match in which we're going to need to be 100%," Streich told Bundesliga.com.

"Wolfsburg have some very strong tacklers, they're very robust in one-on-ones, but they are also technically very gifted. We're going to have to pull together and resist with all we can summon up.

"Both [recent] games were clear steps forwards. Even if the results may not have reflected that."

Freiburg are currently occupying the relegation playoff place in the Bundesliga.
