Francis Coquelin focused on Freiburg

On-loan Freiburg defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin has insisted that he is only thinking about his time at Freiburg and is not focusing on next season.

Coquelin, who is on loan from Arsenal, said that his aim is just to play as many games of football as possible in the Bundesliga.

"I had the opportunity to join Lorient in the summer and I thought about it but finally I chose Freiburg because I wanted to discover something new," he told FranceFootball.

"My future? I am only focused on Freiburg so far. I put Arsenal aside. My priority is to play as often as possible."

Coquelin has made one appearance so far on his loan spell.
