Half-Time Report: France in control against Denmark

Goals from Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette have given France a 2-0 lead at half time against Denmark this evening.

Lyon striker Lacazette opened the scoring on 14 minutes when he tapped home after Kasper Schmeichel parried Antoine Griezmann's shot into his path.

Lacazette almost doubled his account before the half-hour mark but Schmeichel was equal to the effort as the hosts poured the pressure on.

Arsenal forward Giroud made it 2-0 on 38 minutes when he finished smartly after good play from Geoffrey Kondogbia in the build-up.
