Three young stars who have started the season on fire

Sports Mole takes a look at three young stars who have started the new season in style in Europe's top leagues.

With the new season now well underway, we are able to observe patterns of player forms, with global stars such as Robert Lewandowski, Erling Braut Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo expectedly picking up where they left off at the top end of the pitch.

As European powerhouses scout the market for their next signings, they may benefit from looking away from the usual suspects in order to find a deal, just as users can benefit from online casino real money.

Here, Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at three underrated stars who have started the new campaign in eye-catching form across Europe.

Vinicius Junior

Despite his obvious ability on the ball, questions arose over Vinicius's final product last season, after hitting just three goals in 35 appearances for Real Madrid, but since the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as manager, the Brazilian prospect has gone a long way to disprove his doubters.

Despite starting on the bench in Los Blancos' first two La Liga games of the season against Alaves and Levante, the 21-year-old netted three goals, with a crucial late brace salvaging a draw in the latter.

Having earned himself a starting place, Vinicius again played an important role as the Madrid outfit defeated Real Betis 1-0, before starring in their 5-2 thrashing of Celta Vigo last time out, as he posted his fourth league goal of the season and won a penalty to allow Karin Benzema to complete his hat-trick.

Currently displaying the best form of his Real Madrid career so far, the Brazilian star has quickly established himself as a key man in Ancelotti's system, and the new manager will hope to see him carry his newly-found clinical edge into the rest of the season as they look to regain the La Liga title.

Amine Gouiri

In line with Nice's strong start under the management of Christophe Galtier, 21-year-old Amine Gouiri has enjoyed an excellent run at the beginning of the new Ligue 1 campaign.

After hitting a commendable tally of 12 goals in 34 league outings last season, the French striker has already found the net four times this campaign, beginning with a penalty as his side thrashed defending champions Lille 4-0 away from home, while also assisting Hicham Boudaoui for their second goal in the fifth minute.

Les Aiglons then thrashed Bordeaux 4-0 on home turf, and Gouiri netted their second goal with a finish on the counter in the first half, before he smashed a penalty into the top corner to all but seal the three points on the stroke of half time.

The young forward continued his fine scoring form last time out, finding the net in the 80th minute as his side picked up another victory, defeating Nantes 2-0 on their travels.

With four goals and an assist to his name at the age of 21, Gouiri is bound to set high targets for the season, and could fire Galtier's men to European qualification if he can continue.

Florian Wirtz

Another product of Bayer Leverkusen's fabled youth setup, attack-minded midfielder Florian Wirtz broke onto the scene last year at the age of 17, and he has already made himself a key man for Die Werkself, featuring in all three of their Bundesliga games since he missed the opening day through injury.

The dynamic creative hub did not take long to get going, as his nine-minute cameo off the bench against Borussia Monchengladbach saw him produce an assist for Nadiem Amiri to net their fourth goal of the afternoon, before he was again in the action off the bench in the following game against Augsburg, coming on to assist Patrik Schick for their third goal and net their fourth himself.

That pair of performances, alongside a full recovery from injury, saw the 18-year-old handed a start in a tough clash with Borussia Dortmund, and he more than rose to the occasion, dribbling through the BVB defence and finishing from the edge of the box to put his side 1-0 up, before he threaded a perfect ball through for Schick to finish and restore their lead.

Despite the Leverkusen side eventually falling to a defeat, Wirtz proved his immense ability to step up against elite opposition, and he continued his fine form when Die Werkself took on Ferencvaros in the Europa League group stage on Thursday, as he netted the winning goal with 20 minutes to go.

Having already racked up two goals and three assists in just 124 minutes of league football, Wirtz definitely gives manager Gerardo Seoane plenty of reason to be excited, and having earned three caps for the senior Germany national team at the age of 18, he could be the star to fire his side up the league this season.
