Everton loan Shani Tarashaj to Eintracht Frankfurt

Shani Tarashaj leaves Everton for a season-long loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Everton's Shani Tarashaj has been loaned to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt for the rest of the season.

The Switzerland international signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Merseyside club in January before returning to his previous side Grasshopper Zurich on loan.

The 21-year-old forward represented his national team at this summer's European Championships, making one appearance for Vladimir Petkovic's side in a 1-1 draw against Romania.

Frankfurt, who finished last season in 16th place in the league table, began their 2016-17 campaign with a 1-0 win over Schalke 04 at the weekend.

Tarashaj joins Conor Grant, Russell Griffiths, Luke Garbutt and Brendan Galloway in being sent away from Goodison Park on loan this transfer window.
