Gerard Deulofeu praises Roberto Martinez

Gerard Deulofeu has said that it was a "great experience" to work with Roberto Martinez during his loan spell with Everton last season.

The Barcelona forward helped the Toffees finish fifth in the Premier League table during the Spaniard's first season in charge at Goodison Park.

"I had one lovely year with him, which was a great experience. He helped me a lot," Sky Sports News quotes the 20-year-old as saying.

"If one day he came to Barcelona, he would be more than welcome and it would be good for him."

Deulofeu will be aiming to break into the first team with the La Liga side this season.
