Roberto Martinez tips £28m Romelu Lukaku for success

Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that Romelu Lukaku will react positively to the pressure that comes with his £28m price tag.

Lukaku joined Everton on a permanent deal from Chelsea at the end of July for £28m following a successful loan spell last season.

Martinez told reporters: "He is only 21, so I don't see the price tag as a negative, if anything it is going to be a positive, because he'll never have a doubt how much we love him and how much we wanted him."

Lukaku appeared during Everton's opening Premier League match of the season at Leicester to earn a 2-2 draw.
