Ruddy, Oxlade-Chamberlain receive first calls

Roy Hodgson has included two uncapped players in his England squad for Euro 2012.

Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will both link up with the senior squad for the first time next week following their selection by Hodgson this afternoon.

Ruddy, who is the first Norwich player to be called up since 2005, is expected to be the number three goalkeeper behind Joe Hart and Robert Green.

Meanwhile, Oxlade-Chamberlain will join the 23-man squad having featured for England Under-21s on eight occasions, scoring four goals in the process.
