Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that his striker Bobby Zamora is capable of leading England's attack at this summer's European Championships.
Three Lions boss Fabio Capello is searching for a replacement for Wayne Rooney, who is suspended for the entirety of the group stages following his red card in England's qualifying draw with Montenegro.
"Bobby is a target man and holds up the ball. He does that very well and is probably the best in England, or one of the best," said Jol.
"I feel he has a great chance of going to the European Championships."
Zamora is expected to feature for the Cottagers in their Europa League tie against FC Twente on Thursday night.
