Roy Hodgson bans commercial activities

Roy Hodgson has ordered his England stars to rest at home ahead of their flight to Poland rather than engage in commercial activities.

The squad have been given leave before they travel to Eastern Europe, and will report back to the team hotel on Tuesday evening.

England will then train on Wednesday morning before flying to compete in the Euro 2012 championships.

According to The Mirror, Hodgson has imposed the rule in a bid to ensure that his players are fully rested for the upcoming tournament.
