Five England players facing semi-final suspension

Five members of the England squad are just one booking away from missing the semi-finals of Euro 2012.

Victory over Italy during tomorrow's quarter-final will see England reach the final four of the competition for the first time since 1996 when they were hosts.

However, should captain Steven Gerrard receive a caution against the Azzurri, he will be forced to sit out Thursday's tie against Germany.

Ashley Cole, Ashley Young, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also find themselves in the same position as their captain.
