Fire breaks out in Kiev

Firefighters and fire engines were called after a fire reportedly broke out close to Kiev's Olympic Stadium on Thursday.

It is understood that the fire broke out near to the entrance of the venue, where England and Italy will clash in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals on Sunday.

According to Goal.com, some local residents were forced to flee their homes, while the surrounding area was also sealed off.

Over 50 firefighters and 15 fire engines were reportedly required to fight the blaze.
