Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to a deal for Dinamo Zagreb player El Arbi Hillel Soudani to join the club.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to a deal for Dinamo Zagreb player El Arbi Hillel Soudani.

The 30-year-old scored 17 goals in 28 league appearances last season, having spent five years with the Croatian champions.

Soudani also has 41 caps for Algeria, netting 21 times for his country.

According to Nottinghamshire Live, Forest have held talks with the player's representatives over the past week and are edging towards completing a deal for Soudani.

The report adds that Forest are willing to pay €3m (£2.7m) for the former Vitoria striker.
