Zaha dumps agent over failed transfer?

Wilfried Zaha has reportedly parted ways with his agent after the winger failed to secure a move away from Crystal Palace over the summer.

Reports suggested that Arsenal made an early approach for Zaha, only for Palace to baulk at the Gunners offering a deal worth £40m to be paid in instalments.

Everton came much closer to securing the 26-year-old's signature, offering a package worth £70m, but Palace owner Steve Parish remained resolute in his determination to keep the club's best player.

According to The Times, Zaha has informed his agent that he wants to terminate their contract after a frustrating transfer window.

The Ivory Coast international, who scored 10 goals for Palace last season, has reportedly cited his agent's relationship with Parish as the key reason behind his decision.

Manager Roy Hodgson admitted soon after Zaha's failed move to Everton that the Palace talisman was 'annoyed' at the club's board for denying him a summer transfer.
