Palace 'agree fee for Yohan Cabaye'

Crystal Palace have reportedly agreed a club-record fee with French champions Paris Saint-Germain to sign midfielder Yohan Cabaye this summer.

The France international flourished under Palace boss Alan Pardew during their time together at Newcastle United before the 29-year-old moved to PSG in January 2014.

However, Cabaye failed to establish himself as a regular member of the first team at the Parc des Princes and is widely expected to leave the club this summer.

A return to the Premier League has been touted as his most likely destination, and a reunion with Pardew at Selhurst Park is now one step closer to completion, according to The Telegraph.

The Eagles have reportedly agreed a club-record fee of up to £12.8m including add-ons, and are now waiting for Cabaye to decide whether the move is right for him.

Palace, who finished 10th in the Premier League table last season, begin their 2015-16 campaign away to newly-promoted Norwich City on August 8.
