Tim Sherwood 'interested in Crystal Palace job'

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood is keen to return to management with Crystal Palace, according to a report.

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood is said to be interested in the vacant managerial position at Crystal Palace.

Neil Warnock was sacked by the Eagles earlier today following a run of six games without a victory which has seen them slip into the Premier League's bottom three.

Sherwood was immediately installed as favourite with most bookmakers to replace the 66-year-old, and ESPN claims that he is keen to return to management following his five-month stint at White Hart Lane last season.

Former Palace defender Tony Popovic and ex-manager Tony Pulis are also in the frame to take over.
