Former Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan is reportedly close to joining Charlton Athletic.
The 28-year-old, who left Coventry in the summer, had reportedly attracted the interest of a host of Championship clubs.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Charlton have emerged as the favourites to land the Northern Ireland international.
Clingan has 33 international caps to his name.
