Billy Daniels to undergo hernia operation

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley has revealed that Billy Daniels will undergo a hernia operation in Germany on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old, who has made eight appearances for the club this season, picked up the injury against Huddersfield Town on October 15.

"Billy is off for his operation and the procedure will take place on Wednesday," he told the club's official website.

"We are hoping he will be back in contention in a couple of weeks as he has given us a valuable option already this season."

Daniels signed a new two-year deal with Coventry in the summer.
