Coventry City allowed to play final three games at Ricoh Arena

Coventry permitted Ricoh Arena stay

Coventry City have come to an agreement with stadium owners Arena Coventry Limited to play their final three home games at the Ricoh Arena.

There had been doubts over whether the League One club would be able to compete at their home ground following the ACL's call to put the club into administration over unpaid rent of £1.3m.

The unpaid sum is believed to have resulted in a non-operating subsidiary of the club falling into administration, which prompted the stadium owners to try to impose a ban on the club.

It has now emerged that the two parties have come to an agreement to allow the former Championship outfit to play their final three home matches at the Ricoh Arena.

The Sky Blues are currently 10th in the league table.
