Chievo and Roma both failed to find the net at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi this evening.
Roma skipper Francesco Totti had the best chance of the opening 45 minutes when he was put through on goal. However, the veteran striker delayed his shot and his effort was eventually blocked.
The away side continued to dominate the encounter after the restart, but they were unable to breach the Chievo net.
Fabio Borini went close to claiming the points for Roma in the closing stages, but he turned Fernando Gago's through pass wide of goal from just six yards out.
The same player had another chance in stoppage time when he met a pass from Simone Perrotta. However, his low strike was turned away for a corner.
