Liverpool closer to deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic?

Bookmakers have decided to shorten the odds regarding the potential transfer of Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic to Liverpool.

The United States international is regarded as one of top prospects currently playing in Europe, and Chelsea are currently considered favourites to sign the 20-year-old.

Liverpool had been priced at 14/1 to get a deal over the line, but Betway has shortened those odds to 9/2 in the space of a week.

Betway's Alan Alger is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "The speculation around Christian Pulisic's future continues and it's Liverpool and former boss Jurgen Klopp who are the latest to be linked with the American.

"We've seen a considerable move on the Borussia Dortmund midfielder joining the Reds and he's now just 9/2 having been as big as 14/1 at the end of last week."

Pulisic has just over 18 months remaining on his contract at the Bundesliga giants.
