Chelsea revive Alvaro Pereira interest

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is ready to submit a second offer for FC Porto full-back Alvaro Pereira during the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

The Blues had a bid for the 25-year-old turned down during the summer.

Villas-Boas still remains keen on the Uruguayan international and believes that his former club may be tempted by a renewed proposal.

Pereira recently penned a new contract with the Portuguese champions until 2016.
