Chelsea 'rejoin race to sign Fredy Guarin'

Chelsea have reportedly resumed their interest in Inter Milan striker Fredy Guarin.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to offer out-of-favour forward Demba Ba as a makeweight in a proposed £17m deal for the Colombian, the Daily Star reports.

Chelsea could face competition for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for the 27-year-old's services following reports that the player's representatives have flown to the UK to hold talks with both clubs.

Mourinho is also said to be targeting Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia.
