Bayern Munich plot summer David Luiz move?

Bayern Munich will reportedly launch a bid to sign Chelsea defender David Luiz during the summer.

It is believed that Pep Guardiola is keen to bolster his defensive options at the Allianz Arena, with Thiago Silva also thought to be under consideration.

However, a deal to sign Silva from Paris Saint-Germain could prove difficult to conclude, which has resulted in Guardiola's interest in Luiz, according to the Daily Mail.

The report added that Chelsea would consider an offer in the region of £35m for the Brazilian international, which would also free up space in the squad for Kurt Zouma to arrive from Saint-Etienne.
