Barcelona will move for Chelsea defender David Luiz if they fail in their bid to land Thiago Silva from Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.
Blaugrana have targeted a new centre-back this summer as coach Tito Vilanova looks to add to his defensive options after being left short at the back this season.
Silva is believed to be top of the Catalans' list, but a £25m bid for Luiz is being lined up as a contingency, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Brazilian's future at Stamford Bridge has been cast into doubt by the arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho.
He arrived in West London from Benfica two years ago.
