Antonio Rudiger 'pushing for move to Tottenham'

Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger is reportedly pushing for a late switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Germany international has not been involved for the Blues since the opening weekend of the 2020-21 Premier League season and is believed to be on his way out of the club.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 27-year-old, including Tottenham, who are looking to sign a new centre-back before the end of this summer's transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Rudiger is keen on a loan move to Jose Mourinho's side, but Chelsea are reluctant to allow him to join a close rival.

The report claims that AC Milan, Inter Milan, Roma and Barcelona are all keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the former Borussia Dortmund youngster, while Paris Saint-Germain have previously been credited with an interest.

Rudiger's current deal at Stamford Bridge now only has little over 18 months left to run.
