Roman Abramovich blocks Hulk bid

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly blocked manager Andre Villas-Boas's attempts to sign Porto striker Hulk.

Villas-Boas managed the Brazilian forward during his time at the Portuguese club last season.

However, Hulk's £83m buyout clause is enough to put Abramovich off, according to the Daily Mail.

Chelsea are expected to continue monitoring the 25-year-old's situation in the hope that a deal can be made.
