Guus Hiddink wants Petr Cech, Didier Drogba Chelsea returns

Hiddink wants Cech, Drogba returns

Outgoing Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has said that he would like to see club legends Petr Cech and Didier Drogba return to Stamford Bridge in some capacity.

Cech made almost 500 appearances during a 10-year spell with the Blues before moving to Arsenal last summer, while Drogba scored 164 goals in 381 games for the club.

Both players are still active with the Gunners and Montreal Impact respectively, but Hiddink would like to see them return to their former club when they retire from playing.

"They have had a great impact here. Once they are really finished with their playing careers, they can be of great value to the club, as an assistant or scout," he told Fox Sports in Netherlands.

Hiddink also reportedly confirmed that he will be staying at Chelsea next season to assist incoming manager Antonio Conte.
