Chelsea make the trip to the Etihad Stadium holding a narrow advantage over Manchester City in the Premier League standings.
As a result of a six-match winning streak in the top flight, Chelsea sit one point ahead of the defending champions ahead of Saturday evening's showdown in the North-West.
However, the treatment room at the Blues continues to be busy, and Frank Lampard has several selection issues ahead of the return to another of his former teams.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension list for Chelsea as he prepare for their first outing after the international break.
Christian Pulisic
Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Hip Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Man City)
Before being substituted against Crystal Palace two weeks ago, Pulisic sustained a problem with his hip. However, while the issue kept him out of international duty with USA, the winger could be involved at the weekend.
Antonio Rudiger
Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: December 4 (vs. Aston Villa)
Before the international break, it was revealed that Rudiger had undergone surgery on a groin injury. The German is not expected to be back in contention until December.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Status: Out Type of injury: Achilles Possible return date: Unknown
Loftus-Cheek has been out since May with a major Achilles injury. However, the midfielder is currently hoping to make his return before the end of the year.
Ross Barkley
Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Man City)
Having been sidelined since October 19 with an ankle injury, Barkley subsequently missed out on representing England last week. However, the playmaker is closing in on a return to the squad ahead of the visit to Manchester.
CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST
With Jorginho having served a one-match ban, Chelsea have no players who are suspended for this encounter.
