Team News: Eden Hazard absent from Chelsea squad for FA Cup tie

Eden Hazard missing for Chelsea

Eden Hazard has not been included in Chelsea's squad for this evening's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Hull City at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international is one of six players to drop out of the starting lineup from Monday night's 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, as boss Antonio Conte shuffles his pack.

One of those to profit from the rotation is January signing Emerson Palmieri, who comes in for his debut and just a third appearance of any sort this season.

Willy Caballero also takes over from Thibaut Courtois in goal, while Ethan Ampadu, Gary Cahill, Danny Drinkwater, Davide Zappacosta and Willian also return to the starting fold.

Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Victor Moses and N'Golo Kante, as well as Courtois and Hazard, all make way.

As far as the visitors are concerned, Nigel Adkins is without as many as 12 first-team players due to injury and therefore makes seven changes from the 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest last weekend.

David Marshall, David Meyler, Michael Dawson, Kevin Stewart, Evandro, Adama Diomande and Nouha Dicko are all included from the off, as the Tigers - fourth-bottom in the Championship - seek a third win of 2018.

Chelsea: Caballero; Rudiger, Cahill, Ampadu; Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Fabregas, Emerson; Willian, Giroud, Pedro Subs: Eduardo, Chalobah, Sterling, Scott, Moses, Hudson-Odoi, Morata

Hull City: Marshall, Irvine, Meyler, Dicko, Diomande, Evandro, Dawson, Clark, Stewart, Wilson, Macdonald Subs: McGregor, Grosicki, Toral, Batty, Keane, Campbell, Clackstone
