James Troisi nets twice in Melbourne Victory win

Melbourne Victory come from behind to record a 3-1 victory away to Central Coast Mariners.

Two goals from James Troisi have helped Melbourne Victory record a 3-1 win over Central Coast Mariners.

Anthony Caceres had given the Mariners an early lead, but a double from Troisi either side of an Archie Thompson strike were enough to earn Victory the three points.

The evening had started brightly for Central Coast, who earned an advantage through Caceres, but that was as good as it got for the home side as Victory scored three times either side of half time.

The equaliser came shortly before the break when Troisi tapped home after Guilherme Finkler's free kick had struck the bar, before Thompson completed the turnaround five minutes into the second half after good work from Adama Traore.

Troisi sealed the three points for his side with a neat finish into the bottom corner on 62 minutes to help Victory to just their second away success of the campaign.
